The day of your Tandem skydive starts with pickup from your Pattaya hotel (This is included in the price and you can choose either 07:00 or 10:00am pick up) or, alternatively you can catch our shuttle from Siam Square BTS station in Bangkok (this costs 500 Baht per person). On arrival at the skydive center you will need to register in the office and choose any video/photo options that you require (Don’t worry, as long as you have a video you can choose to upgrade to Deluxe video after you land).
Once you have completed the payment you will be given a sticker and escorted to the manifest window to be allocated a place(s) on a flight. We work on “First come, First served” as there are too many variables to allocate individual time slots (weather, air traffic control, Instructor availability etc) so you may be given a red disk that will flash and buzz when your needed to get ready to jump (these work within 800 meters of the main office). The coffee shop/restaurant is located upstairs and you can watch all the action on the Drop zone from there.
Prior to the jump your instructor will brief you on what you are required to do (this takes only 5-10 minutes) and then your camera flyer will conduct a short “Interview” prior to proceeding to the emplaning point.
From here it is onwards and upwards as you sit with your instructor and camera person as the aircraft climbs to 13,000 Feet. After a short time the door slides open and you exit the aircraft (Please watch the sample video’s) time in free fall is 55 seconds to 1 minute falling at 120 miles per hour and the instructor will open the parachute at about 5000 feet AGL, you can then enjoy 7-8 minutes under the large parachute whilst taking in the ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand ,and to the South , Pattaya, whilst the metropolis of Bangkok is away to the North.
Please bring these 3 essential items when you come
- High Fives
- Good Vibes
- Big Smiles
Safely attached to an experienced instructor.
The Instructor will let you assist in steering the parachute down to land on the drop zone where the cameraman will be waiting to record your landing and reaction after what is truly a memorable and Life changing experience.
After the jump you will need to wait for a short period of time whilst your video is edited and then return to Pattaya/Bangkok. The buses do not go at any scheduled time but will go when a group of jumpers have finished (You can ask in the office when the bus is due to depart)
Don’t forget to collect your Video and first jump certificate and all personal belongings. We hope you enjoy your Tandem Skydive and will add to our reviews on social media.
Please note we aim to make the whole event last no more than 5 hours from pick up to drop off (a bit longer if you travel to/from Bangkok). We don’t always achieve this if the weather is unkind but we do have an 87% success record.

Tandem FAQs
My friend doesn’t want to jump, can he/she come on the plane?
Unfortunately not, for insurance reasons the only people allowed up in the plane are those that jump out (apart from the pilot’s!). However 1 spectator can ride the bus with you from Pattaya free of charge. (Additional spectators need to pay 500 baht) From Bangkok they will also need to pay the 500 Baht Fare.
Do you offer a pickup service?
For Tandem jumpers, return transport to and from your Pattaya hotel is included in the price of your jump. Our Bangkok shuttle service departs from the Novotel at Siam Square daily at 09:30 to bring you to the jump site and return you to Bangkok for 500 Baht round trip.
You can choose to pick up from your Pattaya area hotel at 7 a.m. or 10 a.m. We will bring you back to your hotel after jumping around 1 pm and 4 pm, maybe earlier, depending on the weather.
How old do I have to be to skydive?
With parental consent, skydivers must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 25 kg.
Are there any medical considerations?
Yes, suppose you are over 60, taking prescription drugs, or have suffered a recent injury or illness. In that case, you may wish to consult a doctor to ensure that vigorous activity such as skydiving will not cause adverse effects. If you have any doubts about your fitness, please get in touch with us, and we will refer you to a doctor who can advise you appropriately.
Can I take my pictures?
You are welcome to take pictures on the ground before you get ready for your jump, but you cannot take your own camera in the aeroplane. We have experienced professional air-to-air videographers who can take great pictures and videos of your skydive.
Is Sky Diving safe?
Yes, we have run a similar business in the UK for over 30 years, employ the best staff, and use the best available equipment. We follow the USPA safety guidelines and are regularly inspected by the Thai Aviation Authority. Statistically, tandem skydiving has a risk factor of 0.5%, while AFF and “A” License Course students have a risk factor of 1% (as they are not landing with an experienced instructor). However, if you consider that horse riding, cricket, and American football rank above skydiving as risky sports, it puts things into perspective.
Where are you located?
We are located 25 km north of Pattaya and around 96 km south of Bangkok. We are just over an hour from Bangkok by car or taxi and a 20-minute drive from Pattaya. If you’re on your way to the drop zone, please take a look at the directions page and print out how to get here. Most taxi drivers do not know the way and the directions in Thai help (most of the time!).
Is a reservation required?
Usually, yes, as we get busy. The easiest way to do this is to make a deposit payment online with a credit card through our website. Our website is a Positive SSL Secured Website. Your payments for your skydiving experience are processed securely. We use industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools, so ddon’tshare your financial information with other merchants. We can often fit people in if they call on the day, as we make many flights each day. If you have a special day in mind or are part of a large group (more than 5), we suggest making a reservation online beforehand. If you cannot make an online payment, we require a cash deposit to secure your place on your desired jump date.
Is there a weight limitation?
Yes, there is a weight limit of 115 kg; however, your weight should be proportional to your height and build. Most people who have an active lifestyle can go skydiving. If you weigh over 95 kg, you must pay a small supplement to your tandem instructor due to the extra effort needed to accommodate a more prominent person.
What if I have been scuba diving?
Scuba diving is a popular sport in Thailand. If you are an experienced scuba diver, you understand that it is unsafe to skydive following a scuba dive due to your susceptibility to getting “the bends” and will not be allowed to skydive for a minimum of 18 hours following the scuba dive to allow for “off-gassing.” However, you can skydive the next day if inexperienced individuals have dived to 12 meters or less on a beginner course.
What should I wear?
It would be best to have a full range of motion when skydiving. Therefore, we suggest wearing non-restrictive clothing (T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, jeans, sweatpants, or other athletic wear). We can also provide you with a jumpsuit for your skydive. On your feet, please wear closed-toe shoes such as trainers or sneakers. No bare feet or sandals are allowed. We have some older shoes that you are welcome to borrow if you need to.
What if the weather forecast is bad?
Skydiving has always been a weather-dependent sport. If you have been scheduled, you must come to the drop zone regardless of weather conditions. If we feel it is necessary to cancel, we will call you. If inclement weather occurs after you arrive, all jumping will be postponed until later or cancelled. Jumping will recommence when weather conditions do not compromise safety.
What is the Refund Policy?
Refunds will only be given a valid, signed doctor’s certificate stating that the person named is unfit to jump. A full refund will be given if your jump is cancelled due to factors outside your or our control (e.g., inclement weather, aircraft unserviceability).
Do i need to wear Goggles?
Yes, you will need to wear goggles for your skydive. We provide two types of goggles to ensure your comfort and safety:
- Skydiving goggles: These are suitable for both those wearing contact lenses and those without.
- Over-glasses goggles: If you wear glasses, we have specially designed goggles that fit comfortably over them. Please note, however, that they are best suited for glasses that aren’t too wide.
Our team will ensure you have the right fit before your jump to guarantee clear vision and protection during your experience.
